I have been working on this original character for about 4 years now, and she has gone through some major changes. On this page, I will show you the beginning stages of my character Korine along with her design now.
I have been working on this original character for about 4 years now, and she has gone through some major changes. On this page, I will show you the beginning stages of my character Korine along with her design now.
The Beginning...
This drawing is from around 2014. The first design was heavily based on the magical girl anime I was inspired by at this time.
School Idea...
A magical girl has to have an alter ego, right? At this point, I was experimenting with story and other things like that. This is her in her very anime-based school uniform.
Redesign...
This is another sketch of early Kori. At this point, she was named Katana(Get it? She has a sword).
A while later...
Fast forward a few years. I found some drawings of the character while going through my old stuff and decided to redesign her. The main design was the same but I had changed her hair and sword slightly.
This is a pretty plain drawing of Kori. Her hair is slightly based on the character Elely from a show that I would watch around this time.
More Inspiration...
Here is a more recent picture of Kori for Valentines day. She has changed a lot since the first drawings of her.
Recent Kori...
This was around the time where I had started to try to get away from the magical girl direction and more toward the type of the zombie slaying survival story you see sometimes. She may end up being a real life fighter or a kid in d&d.
New ideas...
This is a new sketch I had drawn of her. She is pretty neutral in the drawing but she is still continuing to be solidified and changed. I am excited to see where she will go!
